Allow the Special Olympics Spain team to participate in the 2021 Winter Olympics in Sweden.
Special Olympics Spain is a non-profit organization that offers sports training and athletic competition throughout the year to children and adults with intellectual disabilities in different sports modalities, with the aim of developing physical aptitudes, demonstrating value, participating in an exchange of gifts, skills and fellowship with their families, Special Olympics athletes and society in general.
Training is essential for the development of your sports skills. Since, thanks to him, people with intellectual disabilities benefit physically, intellectually and socially.
Special Olympics, promotes such insertion by encouraging athletes to pass from training adapted to school programs, where they can compete in regular sports activities, one of them, and the most important is: the Special Olympics World Winter Games, which will take place in Stockholm from February 6 to 12, 2021, in which 2000 athletes from more than 100 countries with intellectual disabilities will participate. The delegation, which will represent Spain will consist of 40 people, will participate in three different sports: alpine skiing, cross-country skiing and Snowboarding.
- Displacement of athletes to Åre and Östersund to participate in the 2021 Winter Olympics.
