The CRAM Foundation is an entity dedicated to the protection of the marine environment and the species that inhabit it. Its lines of action are the clinic and rescue of marine fauna, research and conservation of marine species and ecosystems, and awareness in favor of the conservation of our seas and oceans.
CRAM has a recovery center specially prepared to assist marine species, a rescue vehicle and a technical and human team available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, which allows it to maintain an immediate and permanent response system. with the aim of increasing the chances of survival of the specimens of threatened marine species that appear on the Catalan coast.
- Rescue and assistance to threatened marine fauna (sea turtles, seabirds and cetaceans) that arrive with injuries or pathologies, in a service 365 days a year and 24 hours a day.
- Recovery of specimens of threatened marine fauna (sea turtles, seabirds and cetaceans): diagnosis, treatment and intensive care until their reintroduction into the marine environment.
- Reintroduction in their natural habitat of the specimens of threatened marine fauna that have been recovered.
