Carry out a series of interventions in the area outside the center to refurbish and improve the garden of the El Escorial shelter, as well as to make it resilient to climate change and enhance its biodiversity:
- wooded prairie
- garden beds with pollinating plants and food and shelter for small birds: prairie area (1) and transit area (2)
- pergola with climber
- automatic irrigation of the mentioned areas
Direct beneficiaries: 18 boys and girls between 0-18 years old in the reception center and 42 adults (men and women).
Indirect beneficiaries: the future residents of this center, since they will be able to enjoy a more pleasant and welcoming space, as well as the workers and/or volunteers, who will find it in better conditions and will assume its maintenance. At the same time, this space ought to be an open space, where it is possible to work with the associations, groups and civil society of the municipality.
